logger subdir, you will need to change $logpath in the getlicense.pl file.ccpath variable in options.xml. The other options in options.xml are related to the viewer.readusers - if set to false, user data from the logs will not be displayed. It's should work faster then, just that you cannot spy on people :-) Actually the data is useful when looking for possible causes of the problems on ClearCase serverscolsize - when the user names are displayed, colsize is the max. number of users to be displayed in every columnSchedule the logging every 10 minutes. 10 minutes is only slightly arbitrary. The shortest license lease is 30 minutes, so logging should happen less than every 15 minutes anyway (hello to Nyquist-Shannon theorem ;-)). 10's round and less than 15. The viewer truncates entries to full 10 minutes, and assumes 10 minutes intervals when charting. So scheduling more often is pointless, and less often is unaesthetic. 10 minutes it is and 10 minutes it shall be. Generic? What's that?
I recemtly reworked the logger slightly, but was only able to check it on Windows. Unless that change spoilt something Unix-specific, the logger should still work on both.
The viewing should be more or less self-explanatory, On the chart mouse-down to see the license information. Priority users are shown in red. Outside the chart, read tooltips.
